CADIS is a design based practice in New York City. Birthed out of an artists' studio and equipped with familiar tools, the ordinary designer is ignored and left with an unaccustomed practice. Colors and fabrics pulled from earth. Wood contorted, carved, and pounded into place. Matte overtakes shine and what appears inhospitable at first, mutates from the dust and clutter into an object ready for the home.
