Jeff Martin is a Canadian designer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. With a foundation in traditional woodworking, Martin has established a complex, organic language deeply rooted in craft. Since founding his studio in 2012, Martin’s explorations in furniture design have evolved beyond wood joinery to include materials such as bronze, pewter, textiles, ceramics, stone and glass.
Research and a hands-on approach to developing new processes have become trademark characteristics of the studio’s identity and new work being produced.
Jeff now also runs Alpenglow Projects, an emerging collectible design gallery, and Excavated Vessels—an art glass operation with work collected into museums and important private collections alike.
